JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for managing all financial and accounting transactions and maintaining accurate, up-to-date accounting and financial systems and information; including financial and bank statements, balance sheets, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, internal controls, purchasing, etc. Requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related area and 5 years experience in the areas listed on job description plus 3 years experience in management of financial/accounting office. Preference given to applicants with a CPA and/or Master’s degree in accounting, previous experience with health and liability insurance, Indian Health Services, grants, benefits.
Applicants must have valid NV driver's license, be insurable under Tribal vehicle policy, and pass drug & background checks. Preference given to qualified Indian applicants in accordance with 25 CFR 273.45.
