JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB SUMMARY
Primary responsibilities will be to direct daily activities in all areas of warehouse and purchasing operations. Plans,manages, and coordinates WRC purchasing and receiving operations, activities, and personnel. Responsible for contract administration supervision and delivery of all incoming and outgoing mail. Works closely with various departments in sourcing products, gives advise to department heads on new trend of products, and manages inventory control to meet departments' needs.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1.Ensure customer satisfaction through prompt, efficient and friendly service.

2.Oversees and coordinates purchasing and receiving activities including contract administration, quality and cost control, inventory control, and receipt of goods. Participates in Trade Shows, vendor visits, and other off-site activities.

3.Implement warehouse and purchasing objectives.Determines project priorities. Assigns duties as needed to ensure balanced responsibilities and timely processing of purchase and inventory Requisitions or other requests.

4.Supervises staff including scheduling, leave approval, performance coaching and counseling, and evaluations.

5.Implement warehouse policies and procedures and update as needed.

6.Advises and coordinates with other departments throughout the resort regarding purchasing, inventory requisitioning, distribution of all interoffice mail, package delivery, storage, warehouse operations, and shipping.

7.Conducts meetings and develops relationships with vendors and suppliers. Develops strong working relationships with WRC food and beverage and retail outlet managers and directors.

8.Partner with Executive Chef to ensure par levels are in place for all F&B items and adjusted accordingly.

9.Maintain low product costs by regularly shopping items to ensure WRC is receiving the best pricing possible.

10.Develops a process for and coordinates the disposal of resort's furniture, fixtures, equipment, and assets. Determines whether items are to be returned to the Tribe, sold to recover expenses, recycled with appropriate entities, or disposed of properly.

11.Maintain all inventory records for WRC retail and Food & Beverage outlets in electronic format. Generate reports as needed on inventory, warehoused goods, S&R data, etc.

12.Ensure a safe workplace, including warehouse storage practices, equipment use, proper methods of lifting and delivery of goods, etc. Ensures training is up-to-date for Food Handling, equipment operations, and compliance with Risk Management for the operation of company vehicles.

13.Responsible for maintaining the MSDS Master File for all products ordered and/or stored in Warehouse.

14.Takes precautions to secure warehouse contents against loss.

15.Comply with regulatory laws, employee handbook, department policy and procedures, safety codes, etc.

16.Promote effective communication with supervisors, co-workers and subordinates through regular staff meetings, co-worker/management/supervisory meetings and other forms of communication.

17.Develops and operates within the adopted budget, including capital budget requests.

18.Prepares the annual work plan for Warehouse operations, coordinating the goals and objectives through Warehouse management and staff.

19.Participate in and attend designated meetings, trainings, activities, etc., as needed or directed.

20.Other related duties as assigned.

3.Purchase orders, requisitions, bid proposals, quotes, and other documents pertaining to purchasing, transfers or
property control.

ACCESS TO SENSITIVE AREAS:
1.Accounting software
2.Warehouse
3.Finance Department

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1.Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university in related field and five (5) years Warehouse Management experience. Or, an Associates Degree in related field and 10+ years Warehouse Management experience.

2.Five years Supervisory experience.

3.Minimum of two (2) years experience in Hospitality Purchasing. Complete knowledge and understanding of the Hospitality industry, purchasing policies and procedures including inventory control and cost of goods sold.

4.Computer proficiency with spreadsheets, accounting and inventory software, and report programs.

5.Effective communication skills - verbally able to provide instruction, respond to questions, and have exceptional interpersonal skills and abilities.

6.Must possess excellent organizational skills, detail oriented and a self starter.

7.Physically fit: able to perform routine functions of bending, lifting and maneuvering; able to lift up to 50 lbs., placing or removing items from storage racks, perform repetitive motion of wrist, hands and fingers and work at a computer station for long periods of time.

8.Excellent personal appearance and hygiene habits.

9.Requires a High Security Gaming License clearance and at least 21 years of age.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1.Experience with Inventory tracking software.
2.Working knowledge of Just-in-time (JIT) inventory management.
