Objective
The Executive Assistant maintains a professional office atmosphere through adequate system coverage
and resource availability. The Executive Assistant is a critical link between the President and both internal
and external human resources and must operate with a high degree of proficiency.
Relationships
The Executive Assistant reports directly to the President. The Executive Assistant maintains relationships
internally with Executive Management Team and externally with Board of Directors and Regional
Resource Council. The Executive Assistant interacts with stakeholders, vendors of service, and other
individuals of the public.
Responsibilities and Duties
Maintain meeting timelines and document minutes from Board and Board/Council meetings.
Maintain communication with Board of Directors.
Develop and maintain communication process with Regional Resource Councils.
Maintain communication with organization Management Team.
Maintain communication with organization personnel.
Develop and maintain relationships with local and national Indian community contacts.
Maintain organization calendar of events.
Maintain national calendar of events.
Schedule and maintain calendar for stakeholder meetings.
Provide material for stakeholders meetings.
Research as assigned by President
Set appointments and assist President in general organization.
Make all necessary travel arrangements for President.
Perform administrative duties assigned by the President.
Maintain administrative filing system.
Submits weekly reports to President describing accomplishments and set goals.
Establishes goals, objectives, and timelines for each month’s activities
Other duties as assigned.

Standards of performance
The incumbent is expected to achieve the following minimum standards of performance:
Ensure that incoming and outgoing communication between President and stakeholders are processed
in a timely manner.
Schedule stakeholder meetings..
Produce material for stakeholder meetings in a timely manner.
Maintain an efficient administrative file system.
Maintain and document all communication with external resources.
Submit weekly report to the President at the end of each week listing tasks accomplished and goals to
meet.
Complete assigned tasks within specified time period.
Working conditions and physical environment
The incumbent works in a professional office setting with a comfortable atmosphere. The incumbent may
be required to lift and move objects weighing up to 75 lbs. The incumbent will be walking throughout the
facility and can expect to spend time on their feet. The incumbent is not subject to severe noise levels or
heat in the office setting.
Qualifications
Possess a college degree or several years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent
combination of education and experience in a business/management field.
Excellent verbal and written skills
Proficiency in using PC with applicable software such as Microsoft office
Familiarity with American Indian culture, values, and traditions
