Position Title: Assistant to the Chief Financial and Operations Officer
Department: Executive
Reports to: Chief Financial and Operations Officer
FLSA Status: Full-Time Nonexempt
Date: May 3, 2010
Job Purpose
Provides direct administrative support to the Chief Financial and Operations Officer in support of Public Awareness and Marketing, Donor Database Management, IT, HR, Accounting, Project Management, Scholarship Program Management, Board of Trustee Relations, Research, and supporting Resource Development efforts.
Job Context
This position provides critical administrative support to the CFOO, allowing her to focus the operation of the organization on its mission, vision, and strategic goals. This position is particularly focused on assisting the CFOO with the 3rd strategic goal of building capacities and systems.
Because of the visibility of this position - both internally and externally - deviating from the Fund’s values would distract from the priorities the position exists to support. The person in this position must demonstrate the values in order to establish and maintain credibility – not only for the position, but also for the CFOO. Failure to do so would undermine not only the incumbent, but the CFOO.
