NICWA’s director of community development for children’s mental health will be a professional who will help to broker and provide customer-focused technical assistance (TA) for children’s mental health, including Systems of Care communities funded by the Comprehensive Community Mental Health Services for Children and Their Families Program. The goal for this position is to support communities to find effective technical assistance to design, develop, and implement systems of care to improve mental health services and outcomes for children and adolescents with emotional disturbances and their families. The director of community development for children’s mental health will serve as a link between funded communities, the TA Partnership staff, the Center for Mental Health Services (CMHS), consultants, and the federal TA Partners, to promote a shared sense of vision and purpose across communities in the coordination and delivery of systems of care.
