SIPI- Institutional Effectiveness Specialist

The incumbent contributes to the mission of the college by serving as the Institutional Effectiveness Specialist. Responsible for professional education research work related to institutional planning, research and evaluation, assessment, and developing knowledge systems that support the mission and purposes of SIPI.

Responsible for quality control of all educational research products, including summary statistics, correlations, trends, indicators, estimates, and statistical visual presentations. Verifies and validates data and sources.
Applies statistical theory and methods to plan, research, and implement the full scope of assigned investigative projects to the identification, verification and assessment of Indian higher education problems and issues to facilitate college improvements.
Responsible for all phases of studies and research projects including initiation, planning, sampling, data collection, statistical analysis, interpretation and presentation.
Responsible for the development and implementation of an assessment plan for the college. Is further responsible for the monitoring and follow-up activities on a continuous basis.
Develop and maintain effective and efficient interrelated systems of measuring student learning outcomes, student ratings of teaching effectiveness, and academic program reviews.
Provide expertise to the college and its partners about outcome assessment instruments, protocols and practices.
Coordinate the collection, evaluation, reporting, dissemination and archiving of assessment information from all academic, support and administrative units throughout the college; including both academic and non-academic assessment information.
