JOB DESCRIPTION
iCivics seeks a literacy expert to advise and contribute to a suite of online tools that will facilitate reasoning and argumentation. You will work with iCivics and their Web/software developer to infuse every aspect of the design of these tools with a practical understanding of how adolescents develop reading and writing skills. You may also contribute to fourteen content modules for use within these tools.
This project will proceed in three major phases:
Phase1 (July-August 2011): Encompasses the design, technical implementation and iteration of the online tools.
Phase 2 (August-December 2011): Development of the online tools.
Phase 3 (January-April 2012): Content development for these tools.
