JOB SUMMARY:Under the direction of the Dry Creek Rancheria Board of Directors and Support Service Director, the Housing Manager directs and coordinates activities concerned with the implementation of the Department of Housing and Urban Development, Office of Native American Programs (HUD/ONAP) for Indian housing as specified in the Native American Housing Assistance and Self-Determination Act (NAHASDA) of 1996, as amended; the Department of the Interior, Bureau of Indian Affairs (DOI/BIA) Housing Program and tribal funds dedicated to housing assistance.
In addition, for such other duties and responsibilities as may arise on housing assistance, based on contractual agreements between Tribal Members and the Board of Directors, representing the will of the Membership, the Housing Manager implements the Housing Policies and Procedures of the Dry Creek Rancheria. The Housing Manager oversees and coordinates activities concerned with providing advice and technical assistance to housing programs by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates:
