Provides supportive services to individual and/or groups with emotional, behavioral, and/or co-occurring dual diagnosed, i.e., alcohol/drug problems and other mental disorders, to enhance independent choice, satisfaction and optimum participation in the community and family. Key duties shall be based at the Women’s Transitional Living Center with those residents; however clinical work within Behavioral Health will also be required.
Qualifications:
1.Requires an Associate’s Degree in Human Services or closely related field of study.
2.Certification as Chemical Dependency Counselor (CADCII and/or CDS II or III).
3.Requires two-(2) year’s abstinence from alcohol and chemicals (if recovering person).
4.Requires minimum of three (3) years of work experience in Alcohol/drug or social services.
5.Preferred previous experience in a transitional living environment.
6.Ability to operate standard office equipment and other equipment as needed.
7.Knowledge of basic office software programs e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
8.Requires First Aid and CPR or ability to obtain certification within 60 days of hire.
9.Knowledge of Native American culture required; Grand Ronde Tribal culture knowledge preferred.
