Directing clients to other areas of assistance and giving them the tools they need to succeed. Collaboration with appropriate community resources. Knowledge of resources is critical for finding appropriate assistance. Consulting with doctors, therapists and other medical, social and law enforcement professionals is frequent. Working with the families of the clients to contribute to successful outcomes. Increased skills and experience in other areas, such as child abuse. May be asked to instruct other professionals and conduct classes for the community. May seek to develop management capabilities to administer programs. Extensive experience and perhaps additional training will make it feasible to expand the range of conditions of the clients served.
