Submit your application for Staff Pharmacist jobs in the Portland
Area Indian Health. The purpose of this type of work is to meet a
need to fill in for regular staff or to supplement regular staff in
times where there is a need for extra staff on an intermittent
basis. There is no guarantee of regular hours.

The Portland Area Indian Health Service provides access to health
care for an estimated 150,000 Indian residents of the 43 Federally
Recognized Tribes located in Idaho, Oregon and Washington. Health
delivery services are provided by a mix of health centers, health
stations, preventative health programs and urban programs. Health
centers provide a wide range of clinical services and are open 40
hours each week. Health stations provide a limited range of clinical
services and usually operate less than 40 hours per week. Preventive
programs offer counselor and referral services.

This Continuous Open Announcement (COA) is intended as a mechanism
of providing consideration for the greatest number of potential
candidates at multiple locations. Any position may be filled at any
level, dependent upon the applicant's demonstrated ability,
experience, and other qualifying criteria. Candidates with a
complete application will be considered for all vacancies that occur
for a 6-month period.

CUT-OFF DATES: This COA allows acceptance of applications
throughout the year with eligible applicants being placed on the COA
register and referred for consideration as vacancies occur. The
first Cut-off date for receipt/referral of applications to be
considered for available vacant positions will be 01/25/2010. Other
Cut-off dates will be established based on the date requests for
List of Eligible are received to fill other vacancies.
