Finance Director
The Finance Director plays a key roll in the day to day implementation and management of the Nation’s financial reporting and record keeping.
Essential responsibilities include: developing, administering and managing department and Tribal budgets; preparing financial contracts; developing and implementing annual and long range financial plans, and managing day to day accounting operations and staff including, a/p, payroll and grants budgeting.
Candidates must possess a minimum of seven years experience in financial operations, with at least one year experience with Tribal governance; a degree in Finance or Accounting, the ability to read, analyze and interpret complex data and have evidence of continuing education to update knowledge and skills are also required.
