SCOPE OF WORK:
Case Manager will provide services and assistance to children and families to address the symptoms of child abuse and neglect issues.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Manage a client case load consisting of neglected/abused/deprived children.
2. Maintain proper and complete files.
3. Develop and implement Case Management Plans/Perm Plans of children and their families
and other team members to meet the needs of the client.
4. Provide support and direction to children, families and foster parents when needed.
5. Develop and maintain a good working relationship with clients, coworkers, and community
resources.
6. Refer individuals to community resources when needed.
7. Present testimony in court when required.
8. Travel and transporting will be required as needed.
9. Must be able to respond to reports of child abuse/neglect as assigned.
10. Will be available, when scheduled for "on-call" status.
11. Must be willing to become knowledgeable with funding sources and be able to ensure proper
paperwork is in compliance to address the need of the client.
12. Must be will to learn tribal, state and federal court procedures.
13. Attend child protection team meetings as requested.
14. Must adhere to HIPPA regulations.
15. Must sign and adhere to Child Protection Services confidentiality requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Associate Degree in Human Services.
2. Knowledge of Native American Culture.
3. Two (2) years of experience in the field of Human Services.
4. Must possess a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
5. Must successfully pass employment security check. Tribal, State and Federal background
check.

Yates, ND. The incumbent will work under the supervision of the Child Protection Services
Program Director.
