JOB DESCRIPTION

The Director of HR and Admin for Sealaska Environmental Services will perform HR functions for a growing, dynamic company. As a member the senior management team, this individual will develop recommendations and strategies to sustain and grow the company as well as implement customized human resource services. The Director will lead and develop HR team members.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Organizational development and strategic planning
• Recruiting and long-term staffing
• Training and development
• Policy development and implementation
• Compensation and benefits
• Compliance and employee assistance

LOCATION: Bellevue, Washington

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and experience
• Eight to ten years relevant and progressive experience
• Knowledge of employment law, compensation, benefits administration, organizational planning, organizational development, employee relations, safety, training and development including coaching, and office administration
• Experience participating on senior management teams providing leadership and strategic direction
• Experience dealing with sensitive, confidential information
• High proficiency with MS Office programs

PREFERRED

• Training and teaching experience
• Knowledge of the environmental services industry
• Familiarity with Alaska Native Corporations or tribal entities or both
