JOB DESCRIPTION

QEP Resources is a leading independent natural gas and oil exploration and production company. Our operations are focused in the Rocky Mountain and Midcontinent regions of the United States. We also gather, compress, treat, and process natural gas. Operate and maintain oil and gas production and transmission equipment;

Operate and maintain natural gas wellheads, wellhead pump jacks, compressors, standard line heaters, hydrocarbon separators, field storage tanks, wellhead dehydration units, pipeline ball launchers and receivers, emulsion treaters, boilers and various pumps;

Blow and lubricate wells and laterals;
Operate and maintain condensate stabilizer/reboiler, liquid transfer facilities, water plants, and water disposal facilities;

Perform other duties as required.

Requirements
Requires one to two years of oil and gas well operation related experience.

Must possess high school diploma/GED and a valid driver’s license.

Knowledge of: tools and materials for repairs, maintenance and construction. Working understanding and ability to utilize basic computer programs including MS Office.

Ability to:
lift items weighing up to 75 pounds; move items weighing up to 500 pounds with equipment assistance; use various hand tools and hoists; hear; see objects at close range and in the distance; and distinguish colors and relationship between objects; apply basic arithmetic; communicate effectively orally and in writing; understand and clarify oral and written instructions; follow company safety practices and policies; handle and maintain confidential information.
