JOB DESCRIPTION
Aggreko, the leader in temporary power, temperature control and oil-free compressed air solutions, is looking for a highly motivated, organized, detail oriented Technician II – to be based in Dickinson, North Dakota serving primarily power generation applications in the oil & gas industry in the Williston Basin of North Dakota and Montana.
The Aggreko Technician II is responsible for preforming preventive maintenance and repairs of equipment, troubleshoot failures and set up /operate equipment both-in-house and on customer locations. Utilize mathematical formulas to determine both nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements. You must maintain thorough knowledge of and capability in reading/understanding schematics, working conditions in accordance with OSHA, EPA and required regulations dealing with safe operation of all equipment. Obtain and maintain necessary certifications required to operate any equipment as dictated by federal, state and/or local ordinances.
The background for this position includes:
•High school diploma/GED or equivalent years of work experience
•Technical certification in diesel mechanics
•CDL and Haz-mat endorsement
•3-5 years “hands-on” work experience with diesel engines
oPreference to the candidate that
also has natural gas knowledge and
experience
oUnderstanding of emissions systems
and controls is a plus
•Willing to work in 24/7 environment
•Knowledge of oil & gas production is a plus
•PC literacy in a Microsoft and/or ERP environment
•Excellent interpersonal skills
